North Pole Buzz: National Cheese Doodle Day

This recipe from Mrs. Claus is a cheesy twist on a classic snack. It combines all-purpose flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, melted butter, and water to form small circles of cheese doodles. To finish, shredded cheddar cheese is sprinkled on top before baking in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy this delicious snack!


Mrs. Claus's Cheese Doodles


Ingredients:


-1/2 cup all-purpose flour


-1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder


-1/4 teaspoon onion powder


-1/2 teaspoon salt


-2 tablespoons butter, melted


-2 tablespoons water


-1/4 cup finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese


Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.


2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.


3. Add melted butter and water, stirring to combine.


4. Using a spoon, drop small amounts of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small circles.


5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over top of doodles.


6. Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.


7. Let cool before serving. Enjoy!
